President/C.E.O. Dr. Paul M. Kim is a retired veteran law enforcement executive with extensive training, education and experience in consulting and investigating the most sophisticated cases. He is committed to excellence and integrity in his consulting and investigating. He has ten years of a command level policing experience in patrol, detectives, Area and Bureau level commands, and traffic.
He is the first Officer in Charge of Special Operations Section, Internal Affairs Division, where he supervised and conducted the most complicated undercover, surveillance, sting (integrity checks) operations and financial investigations against targets involved public corruption. He retired with the rank of a Commander, the highest civil service rank. He was the first and the highest ranking Asian-American in the history of L.A.P.D. During his career, he received more than 200 commendations and citations.
He earned B.S. in Management with Honors from Pepperdine University, Masters in Public Administration from Pepperdine University and a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of La Verne. He is a graduate of 172nd Session of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy (NA) and the West Point Leadership Program.
He became a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps through the Officer Candidate School (OCS) program and was Honorably Discharged as Captain.
He passed Korean/English bilingual tests sponsored by the Departemnt of Defense (DOD), City of Los Angeles Personnel Department, and the State of California Administrative Hearing and Criminal Court programs.
